Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) will host a roundtable discussion May 24 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the VFW Post 1445, located at 441 Park Ave. NW in New Philadelphia.

Brown has been traveling around Ohio holding roundtable discussions with local veterans about recently passed legislation. Veterans who were exposed to Agent Orange, burn pit toxins or contaminated water at Camp Lejeune, are encouraged to attend, as well as local veteran service officers who are assisting veterans seeking VA benefits due to exposure to these toxins.

Due to the importance of this issue, conversation and questions at the roundtable will be strictly limited to the PACT Act. The Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act of 2022 legislation is named after Sergeant First Class Heath Robinson, a Central Ohio veteran who passed away in 2020 at age 39 from lung cancer after exposure to burn pits during a one-year deployment in Iraq in 2006.

The roundtable will be limited to the first 40 persons.
