DPL to host Aussie Funk Jam
Didgeridoo Down Under performer Rob Thomas will instruct participants on vocalizing, creating simple rhythms and more.
The Dover Public Library invites tweens and teens age 8 and up to an interactive Aussie Funk Jam presented by Didgeridoo Down Under on Saturday, July 13 at 1 p.m.
This event is limited to 40 participants and funded by a 21st Century Afterschool Learning Grant with Dover High School. Interested patrons can call the library at 330-343-6123 for more information or to register.
The Aussie Funk Jam is a hands-on workshop where participants learn how to play the didgeridoo. Didgeridoo Down Under performer Rob Thomas will instruct participants on vocalizing, creating simple rhythms and more with a Q-and-A session to follow the workshop.
