Dr. Hlivko joins Pomerene
Jonathan Hlivko, M.D., has joined the Pomerene Gastroenterology Services team.
Pomerene Gastroenterology Services welcomes Jonathan Hlivko, M.D., to its team of care professionals. Pomerene Gastroenterology Services specializes in comprehensive, close-to-home GI care.
Hlivko is a member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association and is an author of numerous publications. He focuses on the digestive system and its disorders including diseases affecting the gastrointestinal tract such as ulcerative colitis, IBS, gallstones, constipation and GERD.
Hlivko is the head of Department of Gastroenterology at Alliance Community Hospital, a member of the Aultman Health Foundation. His education and training includes a B.A. and master’s degree from Miami University in Oxford and a Doctor of Medicine from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine.
Hlivko completed both his internship and residency at Summa Health System/Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine Program in Akron and completed his training in gastroenterology at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia.
