The Orrville Area Chamber of Commerce has scheduled the following events:

Chamber Business Series

Kimberly Hall, an attorney at Critchfield, Critchfield & Johnston, will present an overview of the new overtime rule at the next program in the Chamber Business Series. This event will be held Wednesday, Sept. 25 from noon to 1 p.m. at Cobblestone Hotel & Suites, 1720 N. Main St., Orrville. To register or for more information, visit www.orrvillechamber.com.

Member Lunch

The next Chamber Member Lunch will be Thursday, Sept. 26 at noon at Dravenstott’s, 410 W. High St., Orrville. Come meet other chamber members and share about your company in a 90-second presentation. Lunch is at the member’s expense. Register at www.orrvillechamber.com.

HR Roundtable

The next HR Roundtable will be Thursday, Oct. 3 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Wayne County Schools Career Center Administration Building in Smithville. The speaker will be Sandy Elliott, manager of adult education at the career center, who will help individuals focus on the power of employee development and team building. Business workshop

The next chamber business workshop, in conjunction with the Wayne County Schools Career Center, will be Thursday, Oct. 10 from 3-5 p.m. in the library at Orrville High School. The workshop will help attendees discover how tendencies impact work experience. Learn how to adapt based on personality style and improve effectiveness and communication. Orrville Area Young Professionals

The next meeting of the Orrville Area Young Professionals will be an after-hours networking event at the chamber office, 132 S. Main St., Orrville. Bring a co-worker or friend for this event with chamber board members. Light refreshments will be provided. Register at www.orrvillechamber.com.
