Heart screening offered
February is American Heart Month, a time to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease. The first Friday of February is Go Red Day. Members of the Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital will be at the Dover Library at 525 N. Walnut St. on Friday, Feb. 3 from 9-11 a.m.
During this time they will distribute information and conduct a heart and lipid panel with immediate feedback that can be shared with one’s physician. Fasting is required for this test, which is a finger stick.
The cost of the screening is $9. Registration is required. To make an appointment, call 330-602-0779.
