Toy, blanket drive underway
New toy and blanket donations to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital are being accepted at Holmes Lumber locations in Millersburg, Sugarcreek and Dover.
New toy and blanket donations to benefit Akron Children’s Hospital are being accepted through Dec. 10 at Holmes Lumber locations in Millersburg, Sugarcreek and Dover.
Akron Children’s Hospital wants to give each patient a stuffed animal or blanket to help provide comfort during their stay.
During the Dec. 3 Dover Christmas Parade, the Holmes Lumber-sponsored Toyland Wonderland float will be a drop-off site for the drive. Helper elves will collect unwrapped items along the parade route and add them to the float.
