Trump governing without Congress
Letter to the Editor,
Donald Trump is testing the limits of his power by governing without Congress. He is waging war against his own government and overriding the collective decisions of American generations.
The global financial interests got Trump elected in order for him to get government out of their way and slash their taxes.
He is trying to overturn laws without going through Congress. In fact, Trump is abusing his power to destroy anybody who tries to stop him.
The apparent takeover by Elon Musk, a not elected individual and foreign national, of the Office of Personnel Management and with the payments systems at the Treasury Department will give Musk control over the financial levers of our government.
It is, indeed, very alarming the Stalinesque purging of civil servants in order to be filled with loyalists. But worst, the purge at the Justice Department and FBI. Trump denied “knowing” about the purge of the FBI and other administrators. This man is determined to destroy the federal government.
Why is Trump making a trade war with the country’s primary economic partners, knowing he promised on the campaign to lower the prices of eggs? We all know that lie made his unforeseen election victory in November.
Why am I concerned about this administration? Because I grew up under a dictatorship regime, and this government is going toward the same path.
Let’s not stay silent in the face of any form of discrimination. May God save America.
