The Village Network has renamed its annual Charity Golf Classic in memory of longtime supporter Donald L. Foster. The event is now known as The Donald Foster Memorial Golf Classic. The new event logo features a depiction of Foster’s signature golf cart.

Foster was an avid supporter of The Village Network. He served on the board of trustees, helped establish the Don Foster Center for Family Preservation in Wooster and volunteered regularly. His wife Nadine Foster continues to lead the committee of volunteers at the golf outing that now honors her late husband.

“I can’t think of a better way to pay tribute to Don,” The Village Network CEO Rich Graziano said. “This event combines the two activities he loved most — helping kids and golfing.”

The Donald Foster Memorial Golf Classic was held June 7 at the Wooster Country Club.

The Village Network is a multi-discipline behavioral health nonprofit organization helping youth and families.
