Wayne SWCD Breakfast and Supervisor Election Nov. 2
The Wayne Soil & Water Conservation District will celebrate 76 years of local conservation at its first Breakfast and Supervisor Election. The free event is open to the public and will serve as the culmination of this year’s supervisor election. This event replaces the formal dinner of previous years.
Held at The Connection Conference and Event Center, 1034 Country Club Drive, Wooster, on Thursday, Nov. 2from 7-9:30 a.m., the event will follow an open house format. Stop by any time to cast your vote for the Wayne SWCD Board of Supervisors, then have a complimentary breakfast of scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, doughnuts and more while visiting with Wayne SWCD supervisors and staff.
Presentation of the SWCD Conservation Farm Award and Conservation Educator of the Year will take place at 8:30 a.m., along with introductions of the Wayne SWCD board and staff. A scrolling slideshow will showcase many of the events, projects and activities Wayne SWCD has been involved in over the years.
