Dover Library will host herb gardening workshop
The hands-on session will focus on the beneficial uses of herbs and how to start a personal herb garden.
The Dover Public Library will host a gardening workshop titled It’s About Thyme,Tuesday, April 29, at 6:30 p.m. in the library’s Community Room.
Led by Heather Pariso, also known as the “Garden Gurl,” the hands-on session will focus on the beneficial uses of herbs and how to start a personal herb garden. The workshop is open to all ages.
There is a $10 fee per participant to cover the cost of supplies. Payment will be accepted on the evening of the class.
Pariso, a graduate of The Ohio State University and a scholar with the Ohio Florists’ Association, regularly offers seminars and workshops designed to engage people of all ages in horticulture. She hopes to inspire a new generation to discover the benefits and satisfaction that flowers and ornamentals can provide.
