Public skating is being offered throughout April at Alice Noble Ice Arena in Wooster.

                        

Alice Noble Ice Arena is open for public skating nearly every day for the rest of April.

Hours are Monday through Friday from noon to 1:30 p.m. with an additional session on Friday from 7:30-9 p.m. On Saturday, April 17 and 24, open skate hours are 12:45-2:15 p.m.

Sessions are limited to 50 skaters, and spots can be reserved online. Admission is $8 and skate rental $3 with children 4 and under free. Masks must be worn when in the building, and those renting the ice are responsible for enforcing all COVID-19 guidelines for all participants. Any health department violation charges will be charged to the renting organization/individual.

The rules include the following:

—Online reservations and payments required for public skating, arena freestyle, drop-in hockey and Stick & Puck sessions.

—All people entering the building must have their temperature taken with an infrared touchless thermometer by arena staff.

—Anyone displaying symptoms of illness such as a cough will not be allowed in the building.

—Skaters are asked to come to the arena dressed to help limit the use of locker rooms.

—Two spectators may accompany one skater/player into the building.

—Face masks must be worn off ice at all times including locker rooms (not required on the ice).

—A social distance of 6 feet needs to be maintained in all areas of the building at all times.
