Summary: The talents of the members of the Wooster High School student body were on display for everyone to see when the Wooster High School Student Council held its annual Talent Show at the Performing Arts Center on April 27. The orchestras, wind ensembles and choirs that normally grace the stage of the Wooster High School Performing Arts Center stepped aside for an evening when dozens of high school students took to the stage for the Wooster High School Student Council Talent Show on April 27. The dozens of students who participated in the event showcased the wide breath of talent amongst the student body. From rock to rap and classical to country musical styles of all kinds took center stage at the PAC. Even former President George W. Bush, as portrayed by Kyle Sherrill, made an appearance at the annual event. After a panel of judges comprised of Student Council and faculty members selected the top three acts in the Original and Cover divisions, the audience members determined the final order of finish by texting votes to a pre-arranged phone number. Taking first place honors in the Cover category was vocalist Bailey Berlin. The trio of Laura Rossi, Kim Sibilia and Michael Pinkham took second place and soloist Logan Crosland was awarded third place. A rock band comprised of Nick Rehm, Nate Head, Matt Kaufman and Greg Rotuno received enough votes to secure a first place finish in the Original category. Placing second and third respectively were President George W. Bush impersonator Kyle Sherrill and Irish step dancer Laura Shoenfelt.
