Large-print books, paperbacks, DVDs, audiobooks, computers, computer equipment, furniture and more will be available for purchase.

                        

The Dover Public Library will hold a one-day discard sale on Saturday, Aug. 10 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Large-print books, paperbacks, DVDs, audiobooks, computers, computer equipment, furniture and more will be available for purchase.

The Book Cellar Bookshop, which is located in the basement of the library and is operated by the Friends of the Dover Public Library, also will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Book Cellar Bookshop is a year-round bookshop that features titles that are new and gently used and are individually priced. A special Book Sale Preview Night for members of the Friends of the Library will take place Friday, Aug. 9 from 5-7 p.m. Members of the public can pick up a membership application at the library or online at www.doverlibrary.org.

All proceeds from the book sale will benefit the Dover Public Library and its sidewalk-replacement project.
