2010 plan available for review
The proposed 2010 Annual Plan for the Tuscarawas County Board of Developmental Disabilities (TCBDD) is available for public review. A copy of the proposed plan is posted at the following TCBDD locations in New Philadelphia: Board office at 1260 Monroe St. NW; the Fair Avenue office at 223 Fair Ave. NW; Starlight Workshop at 638 Commercial Ave. SW; and Starlight School at 518 Church Ave. SW.The document was formulated after obtaining feedback from individuals and families who receive TCBDD services, and input from staff and community members. The plan outlines the goals of the organization for the upcoming year.
The 2010 Annual Plan will be posted for 30 days. A public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 3 p.m., at the board office at 1260 Monroe St. NW, New Philadelphia. Copies of the plan can be obtained by calling 330-339-9573.
TCBDD’s mission is to improve the quality of life for eligible individuals in Tuscarawas County by providing high quality services. The agency views quality improvement as ongoing and notes that problems will be identified and corrected as they arise. Through planning and ongoing quality improvement, they work to sustain and improve services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
