Kramer named new director of revenue cycle at WCH
Wooster Community Hospital Health System recently announced the appointment of Lisa Kramer as director of revenue cycle. She assumed her role in January.
As the director of revenue cycle, Kramer will oversee utilization management, WCH billing, BMS billing, health information management and coding, customer service, and operators/switchboard.
Kramer’s goals include bringing a collaborative and teamwork-centered approach to the revenue cycle areas and to improve the overall patient experience. WCH has been ranked one of the nation’s 100 Top Hospitals 10 times and has a 5-Star CMS rating.
An Ohio native, Kramer received her Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Malone University. She holds the Certified Revenue Cycle Representative certification through Healthcare Financial Management Association and is currently working toward Certified Specialist Payment & Reimbursement. This certification gives specialist-level knowledge of the managed care environment, payment rates, benefit coordination, reimbursement models, cost-control incentives and legislative changes.
Kramer brings 30 years of revenue cycle experience to her new position, having most recently held a director position in South Carolina.
Kramer and her husband of 15 years, Dave, are currently looking for their forever Ohio home. A big Ohio State Buckeye football fan, she also enjoys reading, going to the beach and spoiling her two English Bulldogs, Harley and Brutus.
“I am very excited to take on the role of director of revenue at WCH,” Kramer said. “I look forward to working with this amazing team. Moving back home has been great. I am thrilled to be close to family and good friends again.”
