Trinity diabetes support meeting to cover eye health

Trinity Hospital Twin City is hosting a free diabetes support group meeting about the effect of diabetes on eye health on Monday, Sept. 19 at 6:30 p.m. in Trinity Hospital Twin City’s second floor St. Raphael conference room. Featured speaker, Dr. Matthew Hurst, optometrist, will explain how diabetes affects eye health and what can be done to minimize problems. All area residents who have diabetes are encouraged to attend, and family and friends also are welcome. The diabetes support group is offered regularly through the hospital’s diabetes wellness services program.
