Trinity Hospital Twin City extravaganza begins Nov. 28
On Wednesday, Nov. 28, the Trinity Hospital Twin City Employee Auxiliary will begin hosting the 14th annual Wreaths & More Extravaganza at the historic Trainmaster Inn, 408 Grant St. Guests to the event will enjoy light refreshments and the opportunity to place silent auction bids on the dozens of wreaths, various holiday decorations and gift baskets that were donated by area businesses, families and hospital supporters.
Starting Wednesday, Nov. 28, the public is welcome to attend the Wreaths & More Extravaganza to view the beautiful holiday decorations on display between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. through Friday, Nov. 30. All event proceeds will benefit Trinity Hospital Twin City. Adult admission fee provides unlimited entry to the Wreaths and More Extravaganza throughout the three days; children may attend at no cost. Those wishing to purchase a wreath or decoration may do so by placing silent bids, and the top bidders will be awarded their decorations at 8 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 30.
Each year, the Wreaths & More Extravaganza provides the perfect way to jump-start your holiday spirit, shared Tiffany Poland, chairperson of the event and employee auxiliary member. Come see the beautiful decorations and enjoy holiday cookies and punch while taking in the cozy, charming atmosphere of a Victorian Christmas at the Trainmaster Inn.
The past several years of the event have featured several unique and original pieces, such as a conductors hat with greenery including passes to the Dennison Depots Polar Express, a lovely antique wooden toboggan sled, Ohio State themed decorations, a decorated weathered windowpane and various other collectors themed decorations. There have also been beautiful centerpieces with greenery, pine and hurricane candles. The Wreaths and More Extravaganza also provides the opportunity to see the Trainmaster Inn. The Trainmaster Inn continues to be the perfect showcase for our fundraiser, commented Poland. The bed and breakfast is fully decorated for the Christmas season and is truly a sight to see. It is well worth the $2 admission to see the inn, not to mention the added bonus of our event.
