Garaway boys basketball downs Tusky Valley
Bronson Speedy made sure the Pirates stayed on top of the Tusky Valley Trojans with an 18-point, six-rebound effort.
Garaway Pirates picked up a convincing 64-56 win over Tusky Valley in Inter-Valley Conference boys basketball action on Dec. 27.
As he has done all season, Blaine Raber paced the Pirates with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Bronson Speedy chipped in 18 points and six boards.
Girls basketball
Sandy Valley rolled to a 52-19 win over Garaway in an IVC clash on Dec. 28.
Quinn Schwartz and Paige Regula each scored seven points to lead the Lady Pirates.
