Holmes dog owners need to buy 2024 tags
If you overlooked buying your 2024 dog license, you can obtain it at the office of the Holmes County auditor or dog warden.
The Holmes County Auditor’s Office will send out postcards to dog owners who have not yet purchased 2024 tags.
If you overlooked buying your 2024 dog license, you can obtain it at the office of the Holmes County auditor or dog warden. The fee is $34 per dog, which includes the late penalty. If you no longer have your dog, contact the auditor’s office so your name can be removed from the list of dog owners.
The deadline for license fees was Jan. 31. Auditor Jackie McKee said approximately 734 dog owners are delinquent at this time.
The Holmes County Dog Warden’s Office will pay visits to dog owners who have not licensed their dogs this year and issue minor misdemeanor citations.
