The Alice Noble Ice Arena is now open to the community. The summer-camp program began day-camp operations on June 1, and the ice is installed, making limited skating and hockey available again as of June 15.

Additionally, the Alice Noble Ice Arena has announced the return of the Wooster Oilers junior team to the rink. Visit the website at www.nobleice.com for a current list of available programming. Online reservations and payments for ice programs are required at www.aniaicescheduler.as.me.

To ensure the safety and well-being of all, the arena is requiring a few safety measures so all are comfortable entering the facility. Signs are posted throughout the building to help direct traffic flow. In order to enter the building, all individuals must have their temperature taken by arena staff using an infrared touchless thermometer. If you are displaying any symptoms of illness, you will be asked to return to your home.

Also, skaters are asked to come to the arena dressed to skate to help limit the use of locker rooms. Currently, only one parent/guardian can accompany a skater into the building. Face masks are required at all times while off of the ice. Face masks are not required to be worn while skaters are on the ice. A social distance of 6 feet needs to be maintained in all areas of the building at all times.

Each on-ice session will be limited to 17 skaters. Arrive no sooner than 15 minutes before the start of your ice session and plan to exit the facility no more than 15 minutes after your ice session ends to allow the arena staff time to clean/disinfect before the next session begins.

The Alice Noble Ice Arena offers various options for individuals to participate in hockey, figure skating and community programming. The arena is home to an after-school program for school-age children, a summer camp for youth age 5-12, the Wooster Youth Hockey Association, a high school club hockey team, the Wooster Figure Skating Club and the Wooster Oilers junior team.
