Since July of 2008, Chaffee Family Chiropractic has proved itself a dynamic medical care provider, reaching out to the community with its message of a healthy lifestyle and the importance of chiropractic care.

Its main office, located in Wooster, has served the Holmes and Wayne County communities for over 17 years. Dr. Bryce Chaffee saw the need for placing an office in Berlin with the intention of serving more people.

"We had a large portion of our practice driving to see us in Wayne County and thought it would be easier to establish an office closer to them," stated Chaffee, highlighting the importance of serving the local community.

According to Dr. Jeremy Flanders, this educated, friendly service is a key part of Chaffee Family Chiropractic.

"Each patient is special," explained Flanders, "and we are dedicated to knowing their condition and needs and getting them healthy."

That's what makes Chaffee Chiropractic different from many other chiropractic offices. They go back to the basics and focus on what's important. They know their patients, they understand what they are looking for, they offer the sound advice that only the closest of friends would and, above all else, they go the extra mile to get their patients back to a healthy lifestyle. From in-office related care to reaching out into the community and getting involved, everyone at Chaffee Chiropractic treats their patients like family, expressing sincere gratitude for their loyalty.

Many people never see a chiropractor until they are in some kind of pain, whether it be from a work or automobile accident, a slip or fall, or a sports injury. And anyone who has ever been in pain knows that the only thing they want to find is relief. The staff at Chaffee Chiropractic works their hardest to accommodate their patients, often leaving open space in the schedule every day to fit in those new or emergency patients that may call looking for an appointment.

"Our first objective is to get the patient in as soon as possible," Flanders said. "We can come in before work or after work... We cater to our patients that way. We make sure we can get them in."

While treating any type of chiropractic-related issue, Chaffee Chiropractic specializes in sports injury, whiplash, and automobile accidents, but frequently addresses headaches, sciatica, and lower back issues, among others. Furthermore, they can target specific areas that may be causing pain, such as ankles, elbows, and the neck.

When a patient comes into the office, they are treated to an extensive chiropractic exam immediately. A thorough analysis of any chiropractic, neurologic or orthopedic need is performed to closely identify the problem. The practice understands that every patient is different and this initial exam is an essential part of the journey to wellness.

A standout aspect of the practice is that Chaffee Chiropractic also uses X-ray technology to check for fractures. If a fracture is located, the patient knows right away, and the office will recommend them to an appropriate physician in the area. Likewise, if a patient was referred to Chaffee Chiropractic by another physician, the chiropractic office maintains open communication with that doctor, helping the patient receive the ultimate care.

Perhaps the most evident example of Chaffee Chiropractic's care is their involvement within the community. The office frequently holds toy, food, and clothing drives, as well as gives money to local charities, such as the Love Center Food Pantry. Currently, the office is donating money from new patient exams to Atlee C. Yoder, a young man who was involved in a severe automobile accident.

The clinic also frequents area businesses through their Lunch and Learn program, where they speak with workers about important back health and what to do if they become injured in some way. In the same aspect, Chaffee Chiropractic remains proactive with their own patients, teaching them how to achieve optimum spine health in the future.

"Not only do we want you to have a healthy spine, but also have a healthy body. We talk about exercise and nutrition," explained Flanders. "We don't want to be a pain management clinic. We want to find the problem, correct it, and go through the necessary steps to teach the patient how to be healthy and get them back to their life, as well as how to maintain that."

Flanders concluded, "There are a lot of other chiropractic offices in our area that do a good job, but we feel that at Chaffee, you receive the best care available. Our doctors are trained to determine what the cause of the problem is and correct the problem, so you can get back to your normal lifestyle as quickly as possible."
