Civic Club accepting grant applications

The Wooster Women’s Civic Club is currently accepting requests for its annual charitable contributions. Non-profit agencies in need of funding for a specific project or use are encouraged to apply. Applications, including the amount requested, description of how it would be used, name, and telephone number of an authorized contact should be sent to Joanne Zeiters, 738 Danberry, Wooster 44691. Applications must be received by Jan. 20. Wooster Women’s Civic Club raises its funds through the bridge marathon and its annual Autumn Tradition luncheon. Organizations receiving contributions in recent years have included Wayne County Children’s Advocacy Center, Village Network, Relay For Life, Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, People to People Ministries, and restoration fund-Christmas Run Park.
