Tuscarawas County Treasurer Jeffery S. Mamarella said all second-half tax bills for real estate and manufactured homes have been mailed and are due by Friday, July 17.

Due to COVID-19, the treasurer’s office is asking alternative payment methods be used for the safety of everyone. Payment can be mailed to the Tuscarawas County Treasurer’s Office at 125 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia, OH 44663. There is a drive-thru window open for payment convenience. There also is a drop box located on First Drive Northeast approximately 20 yards past the County Office Building where payment can be made 24 hours each day.

Payments can be made online at www.co.tuscarawas.oh.us. Fees apply to online payments. If necessary, the County Office Building is open, and payment can be made in person.

If you have not received your tax statement, contact the Tuscarawas County Treasurer’s Office immediately. Failure to receive a tax statement does not eliminate responsibility to pay real-estate taxes and penalties or interest accrued, in accordance with Section 323.13 of the Ohio Revised Code.

The treasurer’s office number is 330-365-3254. They also have a website that can be accessed at www.co.tuscarawas.oh.us. The website contains information on real-estate taxes and answers to frequently asked questions.

Office and drive-thru hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
