Trinity Hospital Twin City invites community to open house on Sunday, Dec. 13

Nearly 18 months of renovations to Trinity Hospital Twin Citys original building have been completed, and the hospital staff is inviting the whole community to a Christmas Open House on Sunday, Dec. 13 from noon to 2 p.m. at 819 N. First St. in Dennison.
The focus of the event is to wish the community a Merry Christmas and also provide the opportunity to view the newly renovated areas.
Activities for area residents of all ages will be available at the open house. Those who attend can enjoy live Christmas music, receive free health screenings and have the chance to receive a free family photo.
Kids and the young at heart can participate in a make-and-take craft and have a Christmas design painted on their cheeks or hands. Additionally, a hot beverage and dessert station will supply treats for everyone. Finally, while supplies last, each family who attends will receive a free Christmas ornament.
We are excited to host this free event as our way of thanking the community for their support, and we hope all will join us in fellowship to celebrate the Christmas season, said Tiffany Poland, Trinity Hospital Twin City director of marketing and member of the hospitals renovation team. We look forward to opening up our renovated spaces, so people can view the many improvements we have made to our décor, furnishings and signage.
Our construction project was made possible thanks to funding from Sylvania Franciscan Health and a small grant from the Ohio Mid-Eastern Government Association, said Poland. We know that people are often worried and anxious when they come to the hospital for health care, so our renovation team thoughtfully planned the improvements to make patients and their family members as comfortable and encouraged as possible.
The extensive renovation project included the creation of brighter hallways, more private and comfortable waiting areas within Trinity Medical Group and Specialty Clinic offices, improved signage, additional safety measures, a renovated cafeteria now known as the Stillwater Creek Café, and extensive upgrades to elevators located within the hospitals original building.
