Lois E. Witmer
Lois E. Witmer, age 73 of Bolivar, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Community Hospice Truman House in New Philadelphia, following a period of declining health.
Born in Alliance on Oct. 11, 1944, Lois was the daughter of the late Louis J. and Istra G. (O’Brien) Goldner. She retired from Wal-Mart in Wooster, where she worked as a store associate and also attended the Bolivar Wesleyan Church.
Lois is survived by two daughters, Lisa J. Wilson of Orrville and Tiffany Witmer of Panama, Florida; five grandchildren, Dean Wilson, Dylan Wilson, Mitchell Hatten, Sawyer Howell and Tanner Howell; her sister, Sandra A. Tucker of Bolivar; and two nephews, Jim (Debbi) Tucker of Strasburg and Jerry (Betsey) Tucker of Bolivar.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation care will be carried out through Geib’s Tuscarawas Valley Crematory in Dover. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
