OBITUARY

                        
Margaret Christman Margaret Isabelle Christman, 83, of Holmesville, died Jan. 8, 2010, at Glendora Care Center, Wooster, following a period of declining health. Margaret was born Sept. 25, 1926, in Malaga, Monroe County, to the late Manford and Effie Blowers. She was a graduate of Beallsville High School and had worked as a seamstress at Apple Creek State Hospital, retiring after 17 years of service. She was a member of Holmesville United Methodist Church, and had been a 4-H adviser for several years. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and crocheting. Surviving are her husband, Melvin Christman, whom she married in 1952; sons, Marty (Robbin) Christman and Mitchel Christman, both of Wooster; four grandchildren, Ryan Christman, Mariah (Ryan) Leifheit, and Megan and Madeline Christman; two great-grandchildren; and brother, Gene Blowers of Lima. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Macy; brother, Wayne Blowers; and sisters, Melba Smithberger and Betty Geisey. Services were held Jan. 11, 2010, at Murray Funeral Home, Fredericksburg, with Pastor Kenn Curren officiating. Burial was in Apple Creek Cemetery.
