N. Diana Armstrong, 57, of Uhrichsville, died unexpectedly Oct. 11, 2011, at Trinity Twin City Hospital, Dennison. Born July 18, 1954, in Dennison, Diana was a daughter of Betty A. Kosegi and the late Homer Leroy Marsh. She was a lifelong resident of the area with the exception of several years of her youth spent in Akron. She was well known as an excellent cook and had worked for several area restaurants over the years. In her spare time, she loved to read and enjoyed collecting Native American items. On June 22, 1972, Diana married George E. Armstrong, who survives her. She is also survived by daughters, Nikki (Travis) Devore of Uhrichsville and Jennifer (Doug) Golec of Dennison; son, James (Shawnsee) Armstrong of Gnadenhutten; grandchildren, Nathan (Alysha) Civiello, Natalie Civiello, Dakoda Devore, Tyler, Hunter, and Carson Golec, and Jordan, Darran, Halie, Jade, and Jacob Armstrong; great-grandson, Brody Civiello; stepmother, Carol Marsh of Florida; mother-in-law, Ethel Armstrong; siblings, Cheryl Goff, Melody Hisey, Charlie (Gloria) Marsh, Kim Henry, Dawna Hendrix, Mike Kosegi, Sue Haney, Dave Marsh, and Ralph Marsh; brother- and sister-in-law, Dan and Donna Armstrong; numerous nieces and nephews; and many extended family members. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Browning; stepfather, Don Kosegi; and father-in-law, Carl Armstrong. Services were held Oct. 13, at R.K. Lindsey Funeral Home, Dennison, with Rev. Leonard Porter officiating.
