Susan Pryor obituary

                        
Susan Marie Pryor, 50, of Ashland, died Jan. 12, 2010, at Hospice of North Central Ohio, following a courageous one-year battle with cancer. Susan was born Feb. 6, 1959, in New Martinsville, W.Va., to Joe Edgar and the late Jean Wilt. She had been a resident of Ashland most of her life, and was employed by the McGraw-Hill Company, where she had been supervisor of the shipping department for the past 10 years. She was a member of Ashland Church of Christ, and was an active participant in Ashland Relay For Life events. She loved to ride with her husband, Bob, on their Harley Davidson, and enjoyed gardening, watching the humming birds, and loved to be with her grandchildren. Surviving are her husband, Robert L. Pryor, whom she married in 1977; daughters, Jodi Pryor of Loudonville and Bobbie Pryor of Mansfield; son, Jeff Pryor of Sandusky; five grandchildren, Mason McQuate, Mikey Fowler, Liberty McQuate, Kenton Baker, and Luke Pryor; sisters, Deborah (Roger) Roberts of Wisconsin and Billie Jo (Robert) Haudenschild of Danville; brothers, Michael Wilt and Patrick (Roberta Jo) Wilt, both of Ashland; her mother-in-law, Ruth (Jerry) Meyers; and many special friends. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Carlee Pryor; and her father-in-law, Robert L. Pryor Sr. Services were held Jan. 16, 2010, at Denbow-Primm-Kemery Funeral Home, Ashland, with Pastor Russ Hawthorne officiating. Burial was in Ashland Cemetery.
