Incidents The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of bad checks that were passed at a business on SR 241in Salt Creek Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 hang up call from TR 568 in Prairie Township. All was found to be OK. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of domestic violence at a residence on SR 179 in Washington Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of domestic violence on SR 39 in Monroe Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office conducted a welfare check on a subject at a residence on TR 451 in Knox Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an assault on SR 241 in Salt Creek Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of threats that were made on W. Front Street in Killbuck. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of criminal damage to property on CR 203 in Hardy Township. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office located a suspicious vehicle on S. Monroe Street in Millersburg. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office assisted Joel Pomerene ER with a patient that was causing a disturbance. Accidents The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a one vehicle vs. pole hit-skip accident on S. Monroe Street in Nashville. The Ohio State Highway Patrol handled this report. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two-vehicle non-injury accident on SR 241 in Paint Township. The Ohio State Highway Patrol handled this report. The Holmes County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a two-vehicle hit-skip accident on E. Millersburg Street in Nashville, The Nashville Police Department handled this report. Arrests Stephen Lynn Sigman, 40, of Loudonville, was arrested by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, He remains incarcerated at the Holmes County Jail. Ricky Barlow Weese, 29, of Wendell, NC, was arrested by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for failure to register as a sex offender, He remains incarcerated on a $25,000 cash or surety bond. Wesley Tyler Cobb-Prather, 20, of Canton, was arrested by the Holmes County Sheriff’s Office for assault. He remains incarcerated on a $2,500 cash or surety bond. Fires East Holmes Fire personnel conducted a C.O. Check at a residence on TR 355 in Berlin Township. Lakeville Fire personnel responded to a report of a field fire off of SR3 in Washington Township.
