Basketball Preview Nights to be held at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center

The 2024 Tuscarawas County High School Basketball Preview Nights will be held at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center, 425 Prospect St., Dover. The Girls Preview Night will be Monday, Nov. 4, and the Boys Preview Night will be Monday, Nov. 11.
Sponsored by the Tuscarawas County Sports Hall of Fame, the event will include a meal and a preview of the upcoming basketball seasons. Head girls basketball coaches and head boys basketball coaches from all nine Tuscarawas County schools will be given the opportunity to share insight on their team, their impact players and the upcoming season. Members of the community and the media will have the opportunity to ask the head coaches questions.
“Tuscarawas County has a very rich basketball history,” said Tom Farbizo, president of the Tuscarawas County Sports Hall of Fame. “The Preview Nights will be a wonderful way to support your team and to share your excitement about the upcoming basketball season.”
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., and the meal will begin at 6 p.m. with the program to follow. Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at the Dover Public Library or online at www.eventbrite.com. Tables of eight can be reserved at a cost of $250.
