West Holmes High School senior Clay Stutzman set the lanes on fire at Spare Times lanes in Millersburg recently.

Stutzman, who already has a showcase room full of bowling awards to his credit, smoked the Spare Time Lanes house record for Junior bowlers.

Stutzman fired a 255 in his first game, then really heated up in game two, rolling a 297, which meant he was perfect through 11 straight before getting seven pins on his final throw. He stayed in the zone in his final game, not letting down after the near-miss on perfection in game two, and rolled a nifty little 247.

His grand total of 799 set the Spare Time Lanes mark, and any junior bowler wanting to best that record better buckle down and practice, because an 800 series is what it is going to take, and that is one monumental task.

Congratulations to Clay on this incredible achievement.
