Zoar Village Golf Course will once again host the Trumpet & Wendy’s Golf Outing, a four-person scramble, on Wednesday, May 3. The fundraiser is a benefit for Ohio's official state play, Trumpet in the Land, as the drama prepares for its 48th season of providing entertainment to the Tuscarawas Valley.

The scramble will begin at 9 a.m. with a reverse-shotgun start. Prizes will be awarded for lowest team score, closest to the pin and longest drive. A putting contest, skins and a 50/50 drawing also will be available along with an opportunity to purchase mulligans. At the conclusion of the event golfers can have Wendy's chili and a sub sandwich.

Cost for the event is $240 per team or $60 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, lunch at the turn, chili and a sandwich at the end, and a ticket to the 2017 season of Trumpet in the Land.

To reserve a space for the Trumpet & Wendy’s Golf Outing, call the Trumpet in the Land office at 330-364-5111.
