Hawks fourth in IVC
B.J. Miller shot a 77 and Caleb Schlabach added an 85 to lead the Hiland golfers to a fourth-place showing in the Inter-Valley Conference postseason golf tournament Thursday at Willandale.Strasburg won with a 299. Garaway was next at 317. Sandy Valley took third with a 325 and the Hawks were fourth at 337.
Neil Gingerich shot an 86 and Danny Beachy added an 89 to round out the Hiland card.
Schlabach and Miller were IVC honorable mention. Garaway’s Ryan Troyer was the IVC player of the year.
