Little Theatre Original Productions will bring its new sketch comedy show to Newcomerstown. “A Showcase of Adequate Acting” will be at Newcomerstown Middle School Saturday, March 15 at 7 p.m.

This show is written and performed by a troupe led by G. Shawn Clay. Known for bringing laughs to places like civic clubs and nursing homes, Little Theatre Original Productions is dedicated to making comedy accessible to everyone.

“We’re thrilled that Newcomerstown gets to experience this one-of-a-kind performance,” said Michael Wise, executive director of ARTSNCT. “This isn’t just a comedy show; it’s an uproarious, unforgettable night of entertainment that will leave you gasping for breath between laughs.”

The performance is part of a 100th anniversary celebration for the Newcomerstown Middle School building, and Wise is hoping the show inspires future theater lovers.

“The first time I saw Little Theatre was during high school, and I was hooked. I want young people today to have that same experience. Who knows? Maybe the next great comedian is sitting in the audience.”

No tickets or reservations are needed. This event is free.

Newcomerstown Middle School is located at 325 W. State St. in Newcomerstown. Call 740-575-5710.
