The annual Boo in the Burg event will be held Saturday, Oct. 26.

“This was started by Historic Downtown Millersburg,” said Judith K. Lamp, executive director of the organization. “The tours give people a chance to hear the spookier side or scary side of our historic village. Every town has history; this gives people a chance to hear the side that you probably won’t see in a brochure.”

The three tours will be The Old Jail, The Antique Emporium and The Town Tour. The tours will be held from 5-9 p.m. with tickets available at The Hotel Millersburg and the night of the event on the Courthouse lawn. Tickets are $5 a person. Those interested in purchasing in advance can call 330-674-1457 option 1. Tickets must be claimed by 4 p.m. the night of the tour.

Also going on in downtown Millersburg on Oct. 26 is the Ohio Wine Tasting, which will be held from 6-9 p.m. with live music as an added feature of the event. The wine tasting is in its fifth year.

“There will be eight wineries at the event,” Lamp said.

Music will be provided by Ron and Kim. “They play a great mix of music from the ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s,” Lamp said.

Tickets for the Ohio Wine Tasting are $15 a person and come with a glass, five tastings of one’s choice and a chance to win prizes. They are available on EventBrite.
