4-H Shooting Sports Club meets

At a recent meeting of the Holmes County 4-H Shooting Sports Club, members packed bags of miscellaneous items for veterans, which were then delivered to the Holmes County Veterans Office for distribution.

                        

The Holmes County 4-H Shooting Sports Club met recently at the Eastern Holmes Sportsman Club from noon to 2 p.m., with the meeting opened for business by 2023 Club President Jimmy Britt. The U.S. flag pledge was led by Zander Croskey while the 4-H flag pledge was led by Kassidy Brumme.

Members present discussed community service projects for 2024 and then wrote thank-you notes and packed thank-you bags of miscellaneous items for veterans. The notes and bags were delivered to the Holmes County Veterans Office for distribution.

The club then conducted the 2023 year-end inventory of club equipment for the OSU Extension office. Victoria Mackey and Patricia Lang provided lunch for the club members and their guests.
