There were eight members present when the Eberhart Coal Retirees met at the Manor in Strasburg on Sept. 17. The meeting was brought to order by president Charles Barnhart, with a moment of silence for the deceased employees followed by a prayer. Clarence Westbrook won the door prize.
The next meeting will be Oct. 15, and they will hold a discussion about a Christmas dinner and what to do about a Christmas exchange.
