There were 12 members present when the Eberhart Coal Retirees met at the Manor in Strasburg on Oct. 15. The meeting was called to order by president Charles Barnhart, with a moment of silence for the deceased members, followed by a prayer. Elenor Mann won the door prize. Gene Bayer had a birthday in October. Stanley and Elenor Mann had their 60th anniversary. A Christmas dinner was discussed. The next meeting will be Nov. 19 at the Manor.
