Kerry Pickett discusses Social Security benefits at recent Lions Club meeting

On July 24, financial advisor Kerry Pickett, of Pickett & Pickett Tax & Investments, gave members of the Orrville Lions Club an overview of when it makes the most sense to consider starting Social Security benefits. Know your FRA (full retirement age) and be sure to check with your tax and financial planner before triggering your benefits to avoid regrets, shared Pickett. If you start receiving benefits prior to your FRA, your benefits will be permanently reduced.
