Nashville TOPS OH 1573 meeting news

                        
On May 12, 11 members of TOPS OH1573 Nashville opened with the TOPS and KOPS pledges. The club lost 7 pounds. Bonnie Porter was their best loser. She said to reduce their sodium. Odessa Ferris was their best-rededicated loser. She told them to drink one glass of water before each meal and one glass during their meal. Bob Gerber was their best KOPS. He said to watch their portion sizes and to eat slowly. The picnic contest continues. Jody Shaum gave a program on stress reduction from the TOPS Day 1 pamphlet. First thing is to have a reality check, then do not put unrealistic goals on yourself. They can learn to breathe deeply, exercise, and take a walk to reduce stress. An attitude of gratitude helps by counting their blessings. Keep a gratitude journal and write three things they are grateful for each day. Their weight recorder has program next week.
