New Philadelphia VFW Auxiliary accepts new members

President Cheryl Kilchenman called the meeting to order with 29 members and guests present. New members are Shirley Williams and Alicia Robertson. Reinstated members are Nancy Armstrong, Tina Goulder, and Sandra Hargis from Coshocton. Devi Herbert became a life member. Get well cards were sent to Arline Norris, Dutch Stevenson, and Nancy Fisher, birthday cards to Cheryl Kilchenman and Dot Ross, sympathy to Mary West, and anniversary card to Russ and Carol Gerber. The bills were paid and the audit report was read and filed.
Kilchenman went to the state convention in June. She came back with eight awards, one for outstanding president and runner up for Voice of Democracy. Ethel Quillen won the door prize. A covered dish dinner was held before the meeting.
