Self-taught artist Bill Rettig of West Virginia will teach a watercolor workshop in New Philadelphia on April 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 202 E. High Ave.
Rettig is known widely from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Kansas City, Missouri. A former linebacker from Penn State, Rettig creates gentle but striking paintings.
Painters of all skill levels are welcome. Call Marnee at 330-340-4577 to place a reservation. The class is $40.
Participants can bring painting equipment, lunch, drinks and snacks.
