Tope, Rush earn TOPS weekly awards
On Sept. 11, TOPS OH1573 Nashville opened with pledges. Leo Tope was best weekly loser. He said to eat less. Lana Rush was best weekly KOPS, and the club continued on its Trip Across America contest.
Janice Tope presented a program from TOPS News’ November/December 2021 issue. The first article titled “Exercise To Help Your Kidneys” says exercise increases the blood flow to all organs, making them healthier. It also noted seven benefits of exercise along with suggesting ways to be active. The second article titled “Plan on Having Fun” gave hints to be a positive guest and tactics for celebrating sensibly, one of which was keep a glass of water in your hand to keep from eating unhealthy food.
TOPS meets Wednesdays at the Nashville Global Methodist Church at 5:30 p.m., with weigh-in at 5 p.m. The first meeting is free.
