TOPS learns about fasting
On Aug. 16, TOPS OH#1573 Nashville opened with pledges. Bonnie Porter was best weekly loser, with the advice to refrain from eating cake, while Lana Rush was best weekly KOPS.
Sondra Martini gave a program on intermittent fasting using material from a book by Brad Pilon titled “The Shocking Truth That Makes Weight Loss Simple Again (Eat Stop Eat).” She also read from the Johns Hopkins medical website telling what intermittent fasting is, how it works, how to set up a plan, what to eat, the benefits and its safety.
