TOPS website provides program
On June 12, TOPS OH1573 Nashville opened with pledges. Mabel Leid was best weekly loser — she said to get outside at least once a day — and Lana Rush was best weekly KOPS. The club’s “TOPS to the Rescue” contest was due to end in a week.
Bonnie Porter gave a program from the TOPS website. The first article covered was “Are You Starving at the Scale?” It stated that habits need to be to continued daily, then they show up each week for the accountability of weigh-in. She also showed a visual of TOPS MyPlate philosophy, that half of your plate should have fruit and vegetables, the other half protein and grains, with a serving of dairy on the side. We also need small amount of “essential fatty acids” to function well.
TOPS Club meets each Wednesday at the Nashville Global Methodist Church at 5:30 p.m., with weigh-In at 5. Everyone is welcome. The first meeting is free. Starting July 11 through Aug. 1, TOPS will meet on Thursdays.
