The Buckeye Career Center Foundation has named its 2020 scholarship award recipients.

                        

The Buckeye Career Center Foundation has named its 2020 scholarship award recipients. This year 28 students are receiving scholarships for $2,500 each. The money is to be used to pursue further education or to purchase uniforms and tools for the workforce. In lieu of a formal ceremony, the winners will be honored virtually at a later date.

BCC student recipients from Claymont include Nohl Kellar (precision machining), Carter White (ag. and diesel/commercial truck) and Nanami Whitman (CAD/development and design).

Dover winners include Kenia Gonzalez-Aburto (teaching professions), Aleesia Monteleone (early childhood education/teaching professions), Andrew Mossor (precision machining), Colton Murphy (utility lineworker) and Giovanni Spinelli (natural resources).

Garaway recipients include Adrian Dotson (teaching professions), Jennifer Fehr (cosmetology/business and marketing) and Elizabeth Slentz (cosmetology).

Indian Valley winners include Alexis Burdette (intro to nursing), Kylie Cagot (intro to nursing), Casey Casteel (auto collision), Lakin Irwin (intro to nursing), Vanessa Shaw (intro to nursing) and Hunter Thornton (CBI).

New Philadelphia recipients include Jordan Keith (HVAC-R/electrical systems technology), Natashia Masters (pharmacy technician), Francisco Mendoza (HVAC-R), Noah Miskimens (teaching professions) and Meghan Schoelles (intro to nursing).

Recipients from Newcomerstown include Braiden Guy (computer technology/network systems) and Kim Halsey (exercise science/sports medicine).

Tuscarawas Valley student winners include Chase Burky (precision machining), Colten Cox (auto collision), Bailey Kinney (teaching professions/natural resources) and Austin Mahaffey (auto technology/outdoor power).
