To help bolster the hard work and dedication of Kent State University at Tuscarawas students, Kent State Tuscarawas announced the launch of the new Tuscarawas County University Foundation website at www.TuscUniversityFoundation.org.

The primary goals of the website are to create online giving opportunities and offer resources and strategies for individuals to support Tuscarawas students and campus. Particularly, the foundation website aims to provide a simple informative guide to encourage giving for expanding scholarships, academic programs, student services and learning facilities.

“The launch of TuscFoundationUniversity.org allows our supporters to completely give in a convenient, secure manner and easily access valuable charitable information on how to help our students succeed,” Kent State Tuscarawas dean and chief administrative officer Brad Bielski said.

The foundation website provides the bridge between donors and the programs, students and faculty that make up the university. It helps match people with opportunities to make outright gifts, pledges and legacy giving that have an impact on Kent State Tuscarawas and beyond.

“Our campus supporters will love the website sections we’ve devoted to inspirational ways of giving, which will help them decide which giving methods best suit them,” said Chad Conrad, director of advancement. “We also feature our own Tuscarawas campus alumni association, crucial foundation programs and timely events.”

Since 1968 the Tuscarawas County University Foundation has inspired philanthropic support and enduring connections with alumni and friends, enabling them to transform student lives. It is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization whose mission is to support the Tuscarawas campus community. Contributions made through the foundation are deductible for federal income, gift and estate-tax purposes.

“Especially this time of year, gifts to the university foundation ensure that students receive special opportunities and keeps a high-quality education affordable,” Bielski said. “Generous contributors make possible many accredited programs and scholarships, as well as help meet the day-to-day needs of our growing university.”
