The most recent student-built Buckeye Career Center house is scheduled to be sold at auction on Tuesday, Nov. 21at 6 p.m. Open houses are scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 18 and Sunday, Nov. 19, both from 1-3 p.m.
The home is located in the allotment across from Buckeye Career Center at 535 Corral Drive NE in New Philadelphia.
The three-bedroom ranch includes two full baths and one partial bath. Construction of the house began in August 2016 and will conclude in the days preceding the auction.
Buckeye students in construction technology, energy operations, landscaping, HVAC-R, electrical systems technology, masonry and CAD development and design all had a role in designing, building and completing the house.
The home features an open kitchen that flows into the living room and dining area. The kitchen features white cabinets, granite countertops and a walk-in pantry. The living room includes a stone fireplace and leads to a foyer and front office.
The home also includes a large composite deck on the back, first-floor laundry, carpeted bedrooms and wood floor throughout the kitchen and living room areas.
The home is listed by Barnett Realtors with Cronebaugh Auctions to auction the property. A 10-percent nonrefundable deposit is due the day of the auction with the balance due at close in 45 days or less.
