There will be lots of fun activities throughout March at both branches of the Holmes County District Public Library.

March Take & Make craft kit for Teens — At the Central Library or East Branch Library. Pick up a craft kit with supplies to make a Harry Potter Leprechaun themed bookmark.

Story Celebrations at the East Branch — Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m., March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30. Kids ages 2-5 with an adult are invited to join for stories, songs, rhymes, and more.

Family Board Game Night at the Central Library — Thursday, March 3, 5:30-6:45 p.m. Kids and their families are invited to join for some board game fun. Play Monopoly, Kerplunk, Candy Land, Uno, and more.

Growing Readers Storytime at the Central Library — Fridays, 10:30 a.m., March 4, 11, 18, 25. Kids ages 2-5 with an adult, are invited for stories, songs, rhymes, and more.

Decluttering With Kate! For Adults at the Central Library – Thursday, March 10, 6 p.m. Kate Shumaker, OSU Educator, will share steps to prep for spring cleaning, and help us get organized. Registration is required.

Teen Science Experiments at the Central Library — Monday, March 14, 5-6 p.m.; ages 11-16.

These rainbow-themed science experiments are sure to be gold. For example, one of the experiments includes a Lemon Volcano. Pizza, snacks and drinks will be provided. Registration is required.

Embroidery Hoop Bunny Craft for Adults at the Central Library — Tuesday, March 15, 6 p.m.; Come crafting and create a Spring Easter bunny door hanger. Registration is required.

Saturday Family Movie Matinee at the Central Library — Saturday, March 19, 11 a.m.; Enjoy a family-friendly movie; bring a lawn chair or blanket, snacks and a drink with a lid. Children must be with an adult. Call the library for the movie title.

Yarntastic Fun at the Central Library — Monday, March 21, 6 p.m.; ages 8-12. Join up for yarn crafting fun while learning basic crochet and other yarn crafts. Registration is required.

Coding with Sphero Robots at the Central Library — Tuesday, March 22, 6 p.m.; ages 7-12. Discover the basics of simple coding, then program a Sphero robot. Registration is required.

Family Fort Building Night @ the Central Library - Friday, March 25th @ 6 pm; Families with children up to age 12.

Join us for this after-hours program filled with making tent forts, reading, songs and snacks! Registration is required.

Book Discussion for Adults at the Central Library — Tuesday, March 29, 1 p.m.; “American Dirt” by Jeanine Cummins, and 6 p.m., “The Stranger in the Woods: The Extraordinary Story of the Last True Hermit” by Michael Finkel. Copies of these books are available for check-out at the Central Library’s Help Desk.

Kids’ Nerf Night at the Central Library — Wednesday, March 30, 6 p.m.; ages 8-12. Get ready to play a variety of Nerf games. Darts are supplied and there will be some Nerf blasters to share or bring your own. Participants are eligible to win a Nerf Blaster. Registration is required.

LEGO Building Challenge at the Central Library — Thursday, March 31, 5:30-6:45 p.m.; ages 6-12. Drop in anytime between 5:30-6:45 p.m. for some LEGO building fun. LEGOs and building ideas will be provided.
