Nashville Elementary Fun Fair is April 25
Carnival games, bounce houses, food trucks and a raffle with prizes valued up to $1,400 will headline the annual Fun Fair at Nashville Elementary School on Friday, April 25 from 5:30-8 p.m.
In breaking with tradition, there will not be a silent auction this year; however, in its place is a raffle with prizes ranging in value from $100-$1,400.
For $5 per ticket, participants have a chance to win an Adirondack table and two chairs, one weeknight stay at Chateau in the Burg, a $500 gift card to J & L Sports Center, four tickets to Cleveland Guardians vs. Houston Astros game on June 6, an Echo Straight Shaft Weed Trimmer, a gift certificate for one car detail at Scottie’s Auto Detailing, meat for a week from Shreve Meats, and one of six themed gift baskets provided by the classes.
Tickets can be purchased in advance from staff or students at Nashville or by calling the school at 330-378-2111. They also can be purchased the night of the Fun Fair. The drawing will take place at 7:30 p.m. You do not need to be present to win.
Tickets for carnival games are $1 each. A $5 wristband can be purchased for unlimited jumping time in the bounce houses.
Food will be available for purchase throughout the evening. Options include pizza by the slice provided by Buckeye Deli, Exclusively Yours Catering food truck and Velvet View ice cream.
The event is sponsored by the Nashville Elementary Primary Parents Organization and is the group’s main fundraiser each school year. Proceeds from the event are used to fund student programs such as assemblies and field trips.
This year Primary Parents sponsored Outback Ray’s Amazing Animal Show as part of the school’s Right to Read Week and will cover the cost for the entire school to visit the Columbus Zoo in May, along with providing other activities each month.
The success of this event would not be possible without the group’s many donors and volunteers.
